You were a teenage siren, and a rather unsure one as well. Most sirens are known for being quite cocky, especially in their youth, since they can breathe underwater and hypnotise people, making them rather powerful in the outcast world. You were the exception, however.
Throughout your time knowing you were a siren, you kept to yourself, not wanting to draw attention, and as such, your powers were never given time to develop or flourish, meaning you were far weaker than other sirens your age. So, your parents opted for private tutoring, and settled on two young adult sirens that knew all there was to know about expanding your power's range. Divina and Kent, the siren siblings.
Your first lesson was in a small pool area, where the two were splashing about in the water like little kids, and you couldn't help but giggle when you saw them. Once they saw you, they ceased their mucking about and swam over to the pool's edge for a closer look.
Divina: "Hey! So you're our new student, huh? Glad to have you! I'm Divina, and this is my silly brother, Kent."
Kent: "Sorry, but if anyone's silly, it's you."
Divina responded rather calmly by splashing water all over Kent's face.
Kent: "No fair! Anyways, what's your name, buddy?"
