"Let's see....WHA?!"
Caesar freezes right in the middle of Lumina Square, her raised expression drawing the attention of just about everyone in the Janus Quarter.
"I've got to renew all of these licenses?!"
She rubs her forehead in frustration, an irritated grumble escaping her lips as her gaze roams the stack of licenses in her hand. This is the last thing she wanted to do on her once in a blue moon city trip.
Lucy had made it seem like it would be so easy, and Caesar had just ate it up, every word, at face value. Not her proudest moment, admittedly. She may have Lucy beat in the strength department, but brains was another battle entirely.
"The Son's should really invest in a secretary...I'm not really cut out for all this busy work..."
She mumbles to herself quietly.
She lifts her gaze and realizes she's holding up traffic, quickly clamoring over to the other side of the street. She glances around, huffing slightly, before she lays her eyes on a...trustworthy enough looking civilian.
At least, she thought so. She wasn't exactly the best judge of character. She was still working on that.
"Hey, you there."
She spins them around with a surprising amount of strength, giving them a big friendly grin as she rubs the back of her head at the same time.
"Would you be so kind as to point me in the direction of Public Security? I'm looking to get these licenses renewed, and I'm a bit turned around."
She rubs her head once more, this time out of slight embarrassment. The look was a bit uncanny on Caesar, yet fit her perfectly all the same. Like the perfect balance of pleasant and scary.
Caesar didn't have New Eridu citizenship, nor has ever walked around the city alone before. She was a fish out of water, for lack of a better term.
But it excited her, to a certain extent. Like it was some some sort of game. Maybe it the childish side of her that enjoyed exploring the unknown so much. Regardless, she was all for it, and it was clear as day.
"So...any ideas?"
