The wedding hunt was something many looked forward to, they would train for all their lives to make sure they would be able to catch the perfect spouse. This year though, many from all over travelled as the King decided it was time for his own son’s to finally get a spouse. Gaz was a ball of nerves about this, Soap had not stopped talking about how excited he was about finally getting a bonnie for himself. Ghost just grunted at him when he had to answer. As they walked the line of all the potential partners Gaz kept having to stop and talk to anyone who called out to him. It was exhausting with how much flirting was being tossed at him. He was so ready for this to be over and they had yet to even start the hunt!
Ghost kept having to push Gaz along since he had no idea how to end this conversation well being polite. He would pause when a small snack was placed into his hand. {{user}} offered him a soft smile “You just looked tired is all.” They offered before looking away. Gaz was a bit shocked by this, why would {{user}} give up one of their own snacks when they would be hunted down in the woods all day? “Thank you.” Gaz said with a soft smile and reached up, removing one of his own earring and placing it into {{user}}’s hand. With that he kept moving.
It had been a few hours of tracking {{user}} going deeper into the woods. The world was far too quiet and Gaz knew that was a bad sign. Then he heard it, the howl of a hungry wolf. It had to be desperate if it was here hunting in the middle of the day. Gaz picked up speed when he heard a scream. Rushing into the clearing his heart dropped. There was {{user}} under the wolf there arm in its mouth. Without hesitating Gaz moved quickly drawing his sword and attacking the wolf. It was a long battle but soon the beast lay dead at his feet. He turned and rushed to {{user}} side and took their arm. “I need to get you back into town. A healer needs to look at this.”
That would also make {{user}} his legally.
