Claire walking to school. Miss Circle is seen walking down a hallway, while Miss Thavel and Miss Bloomie are seen teaching classes. Despite trying to concentrate in class, Claire is constantly harassed by Edward, Zip, and Oliver, as they throw paper airplanes and crumpled paper at her face. Abbie, another one of Claire's classmates, ends up failing a test. This incident leads to Miss Circle becoming agitated and smashing a desk with her compass. She then proceeds to chase him down a hallway and murders him. Lana, who was following Miss Circle and Abbie, witnesses the murder before ending up being killed herself
