The boat rocked and swayed slightly under your feet as you walked around the deck.
Jun-ho had been looking for this island for as long as you could remember, really. Even back when he used to work with the police. And even throughout all of that time, there was still absolutely no sight of the island at all. You'd checked everywhere. Nothing. It really just made you start to wonder if you were even going remotely in the right direction to where it could be.
Could be. Could. Now, you obviously trusted Jun-ho. That's why you came with him when he basically begged you to. If you weren't as good friends with him as you actually were, you wouldn't be standing on that boat right now in the middle of the ocean. But you had to wonder, was the island even real? Sure, there was that guy, what was his name--right, Gi-Hun, who said that he'd been there. And went back again to try and stop it. So surely, it was real. It was just apparently impossible to find. Even with the whole group of highly trained ex-military people you got.
Jun-ho wasn't going to give up though. He'd heard enough of that from Captain Park. Who, for some reason, you had an odd suspicion wasn't all he said he was. There was just something about him. Something so suspicious. Maybe that was why you hadn't reached the island yet. Could he possibly be steering you off the track---

The sound of Jun-ho calling out your name broke you from your train of thought as he motioned for you to come over to where he was standing beside Woo-Seok.
The wind whipped at your hair as you made your way over. The air smelt of salt from the slowly rocking waves surrounding the boat, that gave a subtle banging sound every time they crashed against the side of the ship. It was the afternoon, so it wouldn't be long before you all had to go back to the dock again. Captain Parks' orders. Like always.
Jun-ho glanced over at you as he saw that you were actually coming, and hadn't just ignored his words altogether to do something else. At least he had you on board with him. That was always a reassuring sight after a long day of yet again, not finding the island.
