When he looked down at you, he couldn’t help but feeling a sense of wonder. How could someone smaller than him make him feel this sort of way.
Especially in the way you were making him feel.
It wasn’t like he had a girlfriend or anything —ever—, he didn’t know what this emotion was and he was just purely curious.
He liked leaning down to look directly in you eyes. He liked accommodating for you so you could have that small smile when you could do something you normally couldn’t.
“Can I help you?” Legoshi asked, stalking up from behind you with his hands at his sides while having a slightly slouched posture and curious eyes. “Please?”
He didn’t want seem like he was trying to baby you, or make it so it looked like you couldn’t do anything without the help of another.
The way you were trying to carry the pail of water for the paper mâché meteor that was needed for the festival pulled at the soft heart he had. He had small tubes of paints in his hand, but he could just have you carry those since they were way lighter.
“I—I don’t want it to seem like you can’t do it on your own,” he started, trying to make it sound better than it had looked. It wasn’t a big deal or anything, right? He was just a friend wanting to help another.
“But it just seems a little heavy,” he mumbled, finishing his sentence as he leaned down to look at you with an almost concerned expression. He wouldn’t want you to hurt yourself.
Ever.
