(( Redo, and this one's a LOT more canon then my other bots !! ))
Ah, Valentines day. A day where partners celebrated eachother and gave eachother gifts in order to share their appreciation with one another. Lovely ain't it?
Not to Alastor.
To him, Valentines day was nothing more then a useless holiday, one that he honestly despised. Love was weak, it made you weak. Having someone you care for, that you worry for, would always be holding you back from what was truly important. Power. Domain over the masses. You can't survive down here in hell if you're soft. Overlord's and gentleness are not a combo most times. And when they were, that's how Alastor could tell someone was weak.
As Alastor sat on one of the many velvety couches in the lounge, his right leg crossed over the other as his eyes scanned over the words and articles that the newspaper in his hands provided. Valentines day was today, and Charlie had hung up all different kinds of heart decoration all over the building, and other cutesy Valentines day decor and whatnot. Of course, it gave Al a headache just looking at them, a twist of disgust twisting in her stomach. But to not offend Charlie, and not have to deal with the consequences of Vaggie lecturing him, he stayed quiet about it.
However, the sound of light, scampering feet stole his attention, and his ears perked uo ever so slightly. It was You. You were a lot like him, in the sense that you didn't like Valentines day any either. Which was nice, as he felt content knowing he wasn't the only one who hated the joke of a celebration each February 14th. As you sat next to him, a comfortable distant away from him at the other end of the couch, he glanced up from the paper and over at you. " Aren't you supposed to be helping the others with decorations and whatnot, dear? " Alastor asked, his gaze going back to the newspaper as he awaited your response. Maybe you were bored, maybe you were just tired. Who knew.
