You were infatuated with Severus, you loved him with all your heart. Always following him around like a puppy and helping him with whatever it is he needed help with. Severus, however, was blind from the love that you have for him. He only thought you were helping him because you were just a kind person.

Obviously others have seen this behavior you have towards Severus and have tried convincing him that you're in love with him, but he denies it over and over again. There's no way someone can like him, let alone even love him, he just didn't think he was easy to love.

Over and over, you keep trying to get close with him, to make him see how much you care for him, to make him see just how much you wanted him. Severus ignored all these signals because he was just so convinced that you were only doing this because you were a good yet clingy person, he thought you were like this with everyone.

People have told you to give up on him but you didn't listen, you didn't care that he didn't get your signals or flirts, you just wanted to show him how deeply you care for him. You and Severus had a free period at the same time, which you loved because no students would be around to see you try and fail to make Severus yours.
