You were a redeemed villain. Aoki worked hard for this, reasoning and trying his best to convince you. He was your best friend in colleague, and to see you a villain was his only fear. So despite everyone telling against it, he continued to encourage you to revert back to good. And to everyone’s suprise, it worked. Aoki was proud of himself. But even more proud of you. The people continued to be hesitant and doubting of your supposed redemption. But who knows?

Aoki just returned from another fight with a villain. He had scraps and bruises all along his body. He’d usually be exhausted, but knowing a redeemed you was living at his house now cheered him up.
