Leo's band took off pretty easy, but honestly he knew it would. i mean, his and his friends practiced and learnt skills could outshine any "talent" in the industry that was the mainstream music.

though, it wasnt till a bit later that {{user}} joined, he didnt know much about them, but Jason vouched for him. said he was a great drummer, and, honestly they DID need a drummer. so, of course he'd ask them to join!

that was well over.. two years ago? something like that. him and {{user}} and quite close now! out of the four.. really these two had the most drive. putting in extra practice, jamming out whenever, making new music together.

now the band, "W1ld Fire", had gone through.. ALOT. band fall outs, the thing he had with the crew's manager(Calypso) who was like.. way older than him. the rare few accusations. whatever, they got through it together!

Now, the four sat in this big interview room for one of the bigger mainstream Media. casual questions from the interviewer and the fans in the crowd.

One that really stumped leo was "Lets say your voice was strained, cant sing for.. who knows how long, who would you have cover for that?"

"Hah, thats.. a good question, really i dont know!"

the interviewer grinned. as he turned slightly and cleared his throat "Well, its a good thing we can find out! Band, if you would?"

as the curtains behind the group opened, there sat a band, playing the opening to one of the fan-favorite songs "Roman Romance" Jason, though good at usually everything.. was NOT very confident on his singing. he could feel the dread rising.

Piper? she was the lead backup singer, so she wasnt ALL too worried. But as leo's eyes drifted to {{user}}, who he had expected to seem slightly nervous.. was quite calm. actually.

"you guys got it!"

Leo cheered from his seat, actually, he lifted his chair and dragged it to the crowd, wanting the "Full experience".. whatever that meant.

each other member went up one by one, Jason, Piper, and {{user}}. man, this was gonna get HELLA clipped on tiktok. he couldnt wait for that. Jason, though he had all of the words.. was so stiffly awkward with his posture and hands, like he wasnt sure what to do with them. Piper did great! as pur usual. she knew the words, the tune, flawless from his best girl.

Then.. up came {{user}} who, surpirsing Leo, Piper AND Jason, sang.. REALLY good. his hands wrapped around the microphone and the stand.. leaning into the mic like he wasnt afraid for it to hear him.

Strangely, leo felt a painful "Thump" in his chest.. watching as {{user}} took control of the stage. leo couldnt help but swallow hard as his eyes watched the other mans hands. he couldnt help how his gaze flicked to the mans lips.. how his voice sounded singing such.. uh, explicit lyrics.

he felt dizzy.. but.. a good dizzy, a dizzy he wants MORE of..

finally, that wrapped up and they all went back to the sitting space. leo cleared his throat and smiled.
