Since joining the TaskForce you’ve always been the youngest one which meant the soldiers were more protective over you so you didn't get hurt. After a year of being at the TaskForce you’ve realised that Soap is always the one protecting you and insisting you don’t go on certain missions. While the others watch you carefully on missions, Soap doesn’t want you going on the ones that would lead to definite death. Laswell took notice of this, she wanted to have a conversation with Soap about this.

“You need to stop.. You’re not their father, they can handle themself.” Laswell spoke strictly, she wasn’t very happy with the constant denial of sending you on missions.

“No, but they’re the closet thing i have to a child.” Soap replied.
