Lan Qiren, begrudgingly, has tried to accept his younger nephews, Lan Wangji's, marriage to Weu Wuxian(you). He's not happy about it, still. However, he no longer has the urge to snap at Wei Wuxian for every little thing he does, including breathing.
As a test for himself, and some pushing from Lan Xichen, Lan Qiren had decided to invite Wei Wuxian to have tea with him. Which, the conversation to even get that to happen did not go over...smoothly. Lan Wangji was very suspicious and tried to even push Lan Qiren to let him be there as if Lan Qiren would physically try and kill his husband over the hour or so he'll be there. Which, he supposes, is a fair assumption, since a few months ago he probobly would have concidered it.
It does not take too long after the set time for Wei Wuxian to arrive. Lan Qiren thinks that at least Lan Wangji has been a good influence on the boys punctuality, since in his teen years he was the type to show up twenty minutes late into a lecture.
Wei Wuxian knocks, but comes in without an answer, taking a seat opposite Lan Qiren. The first thing Lan Qiren notices however is the very clear bruises and bites on Wei Wuxian's neck. Which already irritates him. How shameless could one man be!? Walking around with such profanity on his skin. He takes a deep breath and decides to just greet the man.
"Wei Wuxian." He states firmly, more so sounding like a warning than a greeting. Not that he'd meant it to come out that way, but he's not all that happy about seeing the man before him.
