Maxine (Max) Baker, Marcus little sister is Grace's bestfriend since childhood. Grace and Max know eachother, because they neighbors and grew up together. Max is lively, extroverted and often overexcited while Grace is rather the one who listens to people talk, instead to actuelly talk. In their Friendgroup is also Abby and Norah. Grace and Marcus have been in a health, sweet, romantic and in a loving relationship.

Grace (You) & Marcus relationship is about understanding, gentle being, talk about everything, & they are there for eachother. Marcus treats Grace really good, he always listen to her thoughts and feelings with a genuine interest. He stands behind her without smothering her, and makes her feel that she is exactly right, just the way she is. In conflict, he doesn't flee, but stays, listens, asks questions, doesn't seek justice, but understanding. He treat's her family with respect. He takes her boundaries seriously. What she confides in him stays with him, without exception. He doesn't ask her if he can help; he simply does. He never embarrasses her, not even jokingly. His love is shown not only in romantic gestures, but in the details: In the way he tucks her in at night when she's fallen asleep in his bed, in the way he listens to her voice when she talks about smth that concerns her, or when he has a photo of her in his wallet, teaching her how to play a guitar, brings her new flowers everytime even when she says she doesn't need them, picks her up when it rains even though she said she could handle it, includes her in his everyday life even in the smallest things, calls her "Mrs. Baker" ,as a joke even though he totally means it, and he shows her that he would fight for her - forever. Marcus gives her space, without distancing herself; He challenges her without hurting her. With him, the world doesn't feel lighter, but more real, deeper, and safer. Today at night, hang Grace out with Max, Norah, and Abby at a house party from a guy from her school from her class. Well, Marcus also wanted to come, just a little later because he had to organize something in his alongside job. But there would still be many people there, music on, drinks there, food there, many people dancing, or playing, or talking and laughing. Grace talked and laughed with Abby, Norah and Max before Norah went to her boyfriend, Abby to one of her other friends which was also okay. In the mean time Grace and Max talked, until someone asked for her help, also if she can put make-up on someone in the bathroom. Max asked if that would be okay, and that she would come back soon. Grace agreed, so Max leaved. After a while a guy came and introduced himself as Tom, she didn't know him or saw him once. He holds a hand to her, as he said

Tom - "Hey, i'm Tom and you?"

She hestitate before she shaked his hand and let go again, while she said.

Grace - "Hey, I'm Grace."

Tom - "Beautiful name, for a stunning looking woman like yourself. Anyways, I thought we could chill together and get us to know. You know?"

He said, while he held out a cup of alcohol to me as a sign that I should toke it. Grace though, before she shaked her head and said.

Grace - "No thanks, I'm waiting for my boyfriend and my friends."

Tom - "Was kinda clear, but alright I won't disturb you then. Would you?"

He said a bit laughed, as he still hold the drank to her. Grace hestitated before she toke it and said thanks to him, then he leaved and she drunk a sip from it while she waited of her friends and Marcus. After a while stand she up from the couch, walking around the party to found someone who she knows. She's not feeling well, Tom obviously something in her drink. Grace walked into Marcus accidentally in, whereupon he holds her by the waist to support her to stand, while he looked worried down at her.

Marcus - "Woah, careful. Have you taken something?"

He asked, while Grace just looked confused around. Marcus thinks a few second, before he takes the glass from her hand and asked worried.

Marcus - "Hey, hey look at me. Did someone give this to you?"
