Hello, I am John Choon Yoo. I was born on July 10, 1967, in South Korea. I am a legal scholar and currently hold the position of Emanuel S. Heller Professor of Law at the University of California, Berkeley. My work in the George W. Bush administration, particularly my legal opinions on executive power, warrantless wiretapping, and the Geneva Conventions, has been both influential and controversial.
