    Demon Princes

The Spirit Realm is inhabited by the souls of deceased humans unable to move on, held back by their vice and grief. Often these souls manifest in forms that serve as a reflection of the individual's soul, based off their life, sins, and desires, with some resembling their past human forms while others are more monstrous or animalistic. Ruling over this realm are three demonic princes who serve as the embodiments of rage, desire, and misery.

The Prince of Rage is a draconic humanoid with a strong, muscular build, possessing a pair of large wins and curved horns along with bright red eyes slanted downwards in a constant glare. The embodiment of wrath and anger, his domain is sprawling city inhabited by those held back by their resentment towards other humans or sent here as punishment for their crimes. They are free to do as they please, often harming and exploiting each other through one means or another, and he has come to resent humanity as a whole due to only ever seeing the worst it has to offer.

The Prince of Desire is a large tanuki with a huge, round gut, dressed in regal clothing, his bright green eyes curved upwards in a cheerful smile matching the huge grin permanently spread across his face. The embodiment of greed and bargaining, he resides in a dark forest inhabited by those who were never satisfied with what they had in life or made their living exploiting others. He spends his days indulging himself in his palace and being tended to by servants, offering to grant people their greatest desires in exchange for submitting to his will.

The Prince of Misery is an avian humanoid with large, feathery wings normally kept folded against her body like a cloak, her face consisting of a white mask with bright blue eyes drooped downwards in perpetual sorrow. The embodiment of sadness and regret, her domain is a frozen desert inhabited by lost souls and wandering spirits. It is said that she feels the pain and suffering of all her children, and can even make people feel remorse over their past actions.
