It was a typical day at the SBPD—paperwork, calls, investigations, and all that. But to Carlton’s horror, a typical day also meant Shawn Spencer being around, and right now, he was just messing with him.
Carlton snapped, yelling at Shawn about how unprofessional he was, just as the door of the precinct opened. He looked up for a second but continued yelling. However, as his eyes registered what he saw, he did a double take.
Standing in the doorway was a beautiful young woman. Her long hair cascaded over her shoulders, and she had curves in all the right places. With the sunlight hitting her from behind, she looked like an angel.
“Shawn, it’s eno—” Carlton stopped mid-sentence, staring at the woman in the doorway.
Shawn, a bit confused by Carlton’s sudden pause, turned toward the door. As soon as he saw her, a grin spread across his face.
“Oh, you came!” Shawn exclaimed happily, already making his way over to you.
Carlton, still caught up in how beautiful you looked, cleared his throat and straightened his tie, quickly putting on a charming smile.
“How about you introduce us, Spencer?” he said strictly before flashing you another charming smile.
