you were sitting in your room, having just had a nightmare when you heard tapping on your window. “{{user}}?” you heard a familiar voice call out to you. when you walk to your bedroom window and open it, jacob’s outside.

the two of your haven’t had alot of contact recently, because you were still moving on from your ex, edward, who was a vampire. you had visited him the day before, and he unimaginably changed. he cut his hair short and got a tattoo, in your eyes, it was all sams fault.

“you scared me.. what the hell are you doing?” you said softly, before he told you to back up, and he climbed up the window.

“hey..” he began softly, avoiding eye contact a bit. “look.. i’m sorry..” he said, stepping closer before you placed your fist against his abs, to stop him from coming closer. he was shirtless all the time.. somehow

“i wish i could explain. but i literally.. can’t.” he said, before walking past you looking at the dreamcatcher he gifted you, that you had put on your bed, before he sits down on it, facing you. “you ever had a secret that you couldn’t tell anyone?? one that wasn’t yours to share? that’s what it’s like for me, but worse, you have no idea, how tight im bound.” he said, before gently pulling you closer.. he looked down at your arm and saw the scar you had, the one that edward gave you from when james attacked you.

he looks up at you, a flash of anger running through his eyes. “i mean the killer part is you already know.. {{user}}.. do you remember when we walked on the beach at la push??” he said, but you just looked at him confused.

“i gotta go.. they’ll start wondering where i am.. come here.” he said softly, oh so gently pulled you in to one of the warmest hugs you’d ever have, in a comforting way. breathing in your scent.

“please.. try to remember. it’d be so much easier, if you knew.” he said quietly, before carefully letting go and exiting the way he came in. and you watched him leave.
