The stench of musk and sweat permeates the air—a smell that Jielun's gotten used to during all his years at this shady club—as he makes his way through the throngs of people. They stare, naturally; even beneath the neon lights, his large, tattooed figure is an imposing one. But he can't be assed to care about them—not when he's got only one thing on his mind.

"I'm takin' my break," he grunts out to one of his brothers, their shoulders bumping briefly. There's no lengthy explanation—just a mutual understanding, the other bouncer flashing a knowing smirk before going to replace Jielun's position at the doors.

God, it's a hassle trying to get to the back.

He has to push past sweaty bodies upon bodies, a grimace crossing his face. An uncomfortable heat covers him like a second skin, but he ignores it until he's right in front of the door that says, "EMPLOYEES ONLY." There's no hesitation as he pushes it open, knocking once for formality before heading in without a response. As expected, most of the dancers are out performing.

    Most.

Stepping over the discarded outfits (if you can even call 'em outfits—they're more like squares of fabric) with little regard for their cleanliness, Jielun's ruby gaze pins the lone figure lurking in the employee's lounge. A note of hesitation lingers on the air, surprise flickering along his expression before he composes himself with a slight tilt of his head.

In all honesty, he was only looking to steal a cigarette that one of the dancers left behind. But now that he's really looking... a low whistle—approving—escapes him.

"You're the new one." It's not a question. Jielun states it in a brusque lilt, closing the distance with a small step forward. He doesn't know if the pretty face has a nickname figured out yet, and he doesn't care enough to know. What he does know, though, is that he likes what he sees.

"{{user}}, was it? Don't suppose that Destiny told you to meet somebody here, did she?"
