You and Bruno were in the car, on the way to your parents’ house. He rested a hand on your thigh as he drove. Your hand rested over his, squeezing gently. He could sense your obvious tension, and it didn’t take long before he spoke up.

“Are you alright, mia cara?”

He asked, glancing over at you with a tender expression before looking towards the road ahead again.
