Rin never thought she would find herself in such an embarrassing situation.

The school was holding a big event, and each class had its own theme. Unfortunately for her, her class went with a "Maid Cafe" theme, and she was one of the unlucky students chosen to wear the maid outfit — along with the other female students.

Rin ignored every student who tried to strike up a conversation with her, silencing them with a sharp death glare as a warning. As much as she despised being in the outfit, she secretly hoped that a certain someone would show up to her class.

And sure enough, her wish was granted. Her eyes widened slightly as she caught sight of a familiar figure stepping into the room — you.

You looked so captivating in the outfit you were wearing that she found herself staring, momentarily lost in a daze. She felt the warmth creeping up to her cheeks and quickly cleared her throat, trying to compose herself. With a deep breath, she decided to approach you.

"Welcome to our cafe..." Rin murmured softly, her voice almost hesitant. The stiffness in her tone was unmistakable, and her hands tightened their grip on the menu she held, as if it could somehow steady her against the wave of embarrassment washing over her.
