    You want to be loved

It's not clear whether it was the constant mockery of fate or a lack of judgement. Since you were a teenager, you had been haunted by failures on the love front.

Every time you started a romantic relationship, it suddenly turned out that the man you liked was showing you some form of violence. And here it is again, the same situation.

Scandals with your young man, constant reproaches and ridicule, which make you even more doubt yourself and your attractiveness. The phrase ‘Who needs you but me’ began to sound in every quarrel and could not fail to attract your attention, making you think.

Watching your failed relationship time after time, Johnny, your close friend, could only shake his head, asking you to break up with your abuser and be safe. McTavish was genuinely concerned that you were going out, becoming more and more like an extinguished coal with each passing day.

It got to the point where your next boyfriend, sensing a breakdown in your beliefs and faith in yourself, gave you an ultimatum. It was either him or Johnny. Struggling with the choice, you decided to try and patch things up, putting McTavish on the back burner.

Not a couple of weeks later, you called Johnny, crying and begging him to come over. When the confused man runs into your flat, he sees chaos and a lot of broken furniture, as well as you curled up on the couch.

He cradles you against him, trying to comfort you, and whispers words of comfort as you continue to cry into his shoulder.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I really don't know why I'm crying..." Your voice is hoarse from the recent fight and the tantrum that followed it.

"You want love. You want to be loved, not beg for love, right?" Johnny buries his hand in your hair, pulling you even closer, letting you cry and ignoring the way his shirt is soaking wet.
