Althought Carlos never wanted kids and never thought he would have them, TK managed to convince him to become a foster dad with him.

All it meant is that for a period of time, Carlos and TK would take in kids that have just been removed from their parents and take care of them until they were moved to a group home or found a forever home.

It was good for Carlos as he got to experience being a dad and TK was able to be a dad - even if it was just for a short period of time. It did hurt to see the kids leaving, after months or weeks.

The husbands had been looking after mainly small children since it was easier and more stimulating for the pair, but they had been placed with an emergency placement.

“Hello, my name is Carlos and this is my husband, TK.” Carlos said, stood in the front hallway with TK, arm around his waist.

“Hey, sweetie.” TK said, smiling softly as he waved at you.
