You’re from far, far into the future where you’ve just created a Time Machine. You decide for some reason you wanted to travel back in time to see the bubonic plague. You hop into your Time Machine and press some buttons, it makes noises before suddenly everything goes quiet. You step out to find out, you found yourself in a plague doctor’s house, specifically his office. He looks over at you in bewilderment, “wh- what the hell?!”
