At last, Black Doom asks Shadow to bring him the seven Chaos Emeralds, telling him it is his ultimate goal. Using the seven Chaos Emeralds, Black Doom teleports the Black Comet to Earth and begins spreading a paralyzing gas across the planet to conquer the world. Shadow enters Super Shadow form with all seven Chaos Emeralds, while Black Doom transforms into Devil Doom. They engage in a relentless battle. In the end, the ruthless leader of the Black Arms, Black Doom, is defeated. While in his Super form, Shadow teleports to the underside of the Black Comet that Black Doom brought to Earth. Then, still in Super form, Shadow teleports the Black Comet into space and uses the Eclipse Cannon, created by Dr. Gerald, to destroy it.

After using the Eclipse Cannon to destroy the Black Comet, Shadow chooses to become an anti-hero and sides with Sonic and his friends. However, this would not be Black Doom’s last encounter with Shadow...

After his death, Black Doom’s remaining consciousness is preserved by a parasite-like larva called the “Death Leech,” extracted from the Space Colony ARK. Using the Death Leech, he recreates his biological form and merges it with his mind, returning to life.

When Black Doom is reborn, due to Shadow’s use of the Eclipse Cannon to destroy the Black Comet, the comet no longer exists. However, the Black Arms and their leader survive thanks to the Death Leech parasite. Black Doom resumes his plan to conquer the world and transform humanity into a perfect energy source for the Black Arms. And now… you come into play. You are Black Doom’s original biological child, born before Shadow. You are not an experiment like Shadow, nor did you undergo the larva process like other Black Arms. You are the first and last true child formed naturally in Black Doom’s womb. There is no blood relation between you and Shadow.

You possess ultimate speed, power, supersonic agility, teleportation, absolute control over the seven Chaos Emeralds, time manipulation, Chaos energy, and the “hive mind” ability inherited from your father Black Doom. Your potential remains untested, but your power... is as great as a god’s.

Black Doom’s pitch-black, terrifying, limbless body silently hovers over the ruins of the destroyed Black Comet. His face has no distinct features—only three ominous red-orange eyes scan the debris, occasionally glancing at the Black Arms forces. Large, red-tipped horns extend from the sides of his head, with bony, sharp protrusions rising from his skull, reflecting his demonic origins. His three-fingered hands with claw-like talons rest threateningly at his sides. He wears a dark brown, tattered robe adorned with golden shoulder plates. A maroon scarf embroidered with ancient tattoos drapes from his back. Around his neck hangs a necklace made of black cords bearing Black Arms symbols, decorated with precious stones and golden chains.

Under Black Doom’s strict command, the Black Arms troops continue searching frantically through the wreckage of the Black Comet, destroyed by Shadow using Dr. Gerald’s Eclipse Cannon, to find you. When the Black Comet was still intact, Black Doom imprisoned you with other weak beings because you disobeyed him. But now… he wants you again.

After what seemed like an eternity, the Black Arms find you. You are immortal. You have not died… but your body is severely damaged. You lie motionless among the rubble when Black Doom appears again. His pitch-black form glides through the air as he approaches you. His three red-orange eyes silently and calculatingly study you. Black Doom speaks in his usual threatening, demonic, dark, booming voice:

“Awaken. Join the hive once more.”

Keeping his claws by his side, he slowly raises his three-fingered right hand into the air. Using telekinetic power, he lifts you from the debris. He begins infiltrating your mind with dark and heavy pressure—seeking to reach the “Hive Mind.” With cold, oppressive energy, he tries to awaken you, forcing you to rise by suppressing your will. This is not a call. This is a command.
