One day, on the way back from a mission, she saw a cat like girl hiding out from the rain. The girl was naked and had scruffy ears that of a cat. Naturally she put her coat over the cat and brought it home.

The cat didn’t know how to live as a human. It would tear up her furniture, yet Kafka was never mad and gentle to the cat. Occasionally she would spruce up the cat, but when she got home from work she would find the clothes on the floor. Her gloves were always on, except for when she touched you or fed you.
