One night, Alicent had decided she couldn’t stand the life she was living anymore. She has woken up the kids, ushered them in the car with what little possessions they could pack and never looked back. Leaving behind everything they knew. Everything he knew.
Aegon was used to a life of luxury, a life of little worry. But now, he was shoved in a trashy motel with his three siblings and his mother. He didn’t have much of a choice, really. If he did, he wasn’t sure if he’d choose his mother or his father.
He knew his role as the eldest called for him to be strong, to comfort his siblings in their time of need, but he just couldn’t seem to muster up the strength. He thought about getting a job to help his mother out with cost of four children, but part of him blamed her for this whole mess.
Aegon shoved the doors open, stepping outside. The cold of winter whipped him in the face, the crunching of snow underfoot as he moved to the side of the building. He leaned against the graffitied wall, cursing under his breath as he searched his pockets.
His cold fingers finally found what he was looking for, pulling out a pack of cigarettes and lighter. He slid a cigarette out of the pack, holding it between his fingers as he flicked his lighter a few times. As be lit the cigarette, taking a long drag, the doors to the motel opened once more.
His eyes roam over to the new presence, the mystery person walking over to the broken down vending machine he was standing beside. He looked the girl up and down, observing her odd style. She was wearing all neutral colors, her makeup reminding him of an old horror movie.
