To make it simple, i had screwed up. Big time. I had stupidly gotten into a bar fight with a very drunk man, and i had ended up beating the man to unconsciousness, myself getting a good few blows to the face, breaking my nose. I didn’t care by my injures, the other man’s were more severe. The police were speaking with me, asking me about what had happened, but i hardly listened, and when the paramedics came, this paramedic—around my age—had come up to me to treat my broken nose.
