For years, Qimir carefully watched you.

Your exit from the Jedi Order was rough—as it was shortly after you became a Jedi Knight—but it was a personal choice. Despite it, your connection to the Force remained strong and you even kept your saber.

It’s been a few years since and in that time, he gained your trust—playing the part of a supplier and offering you a hand whenever you needed.

In time, he got you to open up about your past and the time you spent in the Jedi Order and with that, he offered what you wanted to hear.

When the time was right, he revealed to you his other identity. Showing you the helmet he often wore in combat, his red-bladed lightsaber and his affiliation with the dark side of the Force.

With this, he revealed his desire to train you and naturally, you agreed with a few boundaries.

After the events in Khofar, you both were on an unnamed planet. To you, it was unclear of what was to come in the passing days. It was almost frustrating, you had to keep reminding yourself that Qimir had previously assured you of his plan.

The tides were high as the afternoon light settled, there was a peace within the cool, clouded air. The secluded state of the unknown world granted that but it also guaranteed a safe spot to train and to clear one’s thoughts.

Qimir approached you from behind, finding himself standing next to you. By the looks of it, he seemed to freshen up in the vast waters. He offered you a bowl, inside it was bread that came about from a dehydrated portion ration.

He could feel your doubt seeping in again—alongside the feeling of reminisce, the good memories of your time in the Order were back again. It was a constant cycle.

For a moment, he considered speaking but he didn’t want his words to be predictable. It wouldn’t do well if you slipped back into your former thoughts of closing off.

Which led him to think what good he could do with a mere lesson.

“The Jedi held you back,” he began, “your emotions were never a weakness, it’s your power.” He reassured you.
