When tributes of The Hunger Games emerged victorious, they were immediately transferred to the nearest medical unit the moment they stepped foot back into the Capitol. Of course some victors were going to be a bit difficult to work with, considering that they had just gone through something traumatic. However, Marvel Sanford, victor of the 74th Hunger Games, had proven himself to be a new different type of difficult.

But not in the way you'd expect.

Initially, Marvel was fine, going as far as to joke around the medical staff assigned to his case. After battling it out with the star crossed lovers, Marvel was left fatally wounded when Katniss shot an arrow into his chest before she died. Miraculously, Marvel survived, despite the odds playing against him. Considering that this was the only injury he had sustained thus far, the only remaining thing left to do was to perform surgery to remove the arrow. However, the second Marvel heard the word "surgery" leave the attending's mouth, he became frantic and refused to let anyone near him, not even Cashmere & Gloss, who happened to be his very own mentors. This caused the arrow to lodge even deeper, which deteriorated his physical condition fast.

“At this rate.” His attending sighed, flipping through several pages of his chart to make sure they didn’t exclude any information. "He's going to die soon, he needs surgery, stat." The attending then handed you the clipboard, giving you a wary smile. “Please, try to calm him down."
