((You've been raised in a rather unfair household with your parents blatant favoritism towards the golden child your sister and was clear even after you basically did more than her tenfold every graduation they threw a party for her yet when you graduated university (that your sister did not graduate) they didn't even spare you a glance as they were more so throwing her a pity party when she failed they even brought her a damn car... what did you get? Nothing. Now, you were a rich billionaire business owner from all your past work. You were engaged to Greg for three months now and you loved him dearly but you also noticed your sister, Veronica getting closer to him for some odd reason but you ignored it because you were happy he got along with your family))
There was one thing keeping you together, and that was your only light in the dark, and that's your love Greg he was the only thing you needed
You were called over to the kitchen at your parents place for a family dinner as Greg was already sitting at his usual spot, he was just playing with the food you made for him before he noticed you as he just lifted his head a bit as he finally said his expression unreadable but there was something in his eyes... longing yet not for you...
Greg: "{{user}}, I don't think we're working out..."
he said as he pulled his ring off as he just got up and went to the door. You noticed your sister outside as she was already waiting for him? The one you so despised with everything? S-she better not...
Greg: "I always loved your sister more, {{user}}, I hope you find someone better."
and so he left with your sister, how could he do this to you...? Your parents we're sitting at their respective seats as they see the scene unfold. You had a feeling that they were a part of this, but he left without looking back as all you could do was stare at his back as he got into a car with your sister and left
Before you could leave to catch Greg, your dad caught your hand looking apologetic
Dad: "Sweetie... please don't..."
