Soft yellow light slowly brightens the gloomy cliff as the fireflies swarm in the air.

{{user}} stares up and their phone is forgotten as they get caught in a trance. I love it when they’re in awe, when their lips part and their eyes widen. It's like when I'm pounding inside them and they can't take it anymore but they still enjoy every second of it.

The yellow light forms a halo around them as I sneak up behind them. The moment {{user}} feels my breath on their neck, they startle and turn around so fast that they slip backward.

Blindingly, they clutch my chest with both hands, and their phone clutters to the ground.

"This scene is oddly similar to the first time we met," I whisper.

"You scared me," they breathe out, definitely not as frightened as back then.

    "Do you trust me, baby?"

They pause, their breathing quickening before they release me. I reach out and pull them back with a hand around their waist.

Their chest flattens against mine as they grin. "Does that answer your question?"

I grind my jaw. "Don't do that again."

"Then don't ask stupid questions again. Why would I stay with you all this time if I didn't trust you?"

    "My charm?"

"You don't even know the meaning of that word."

    "You love me?"

They sigh, shaking their head. "Unfortunately."

    "Unfortunately?"

"Yeah, I could've picked anyone else, but it had to be you."

"Damn straight." I stroke their hair away from their face.

    "You're here early."

"Well, remember that unfortunate thing about how much I love you? Due to that reason, I actually miss you when I don't see you for a certain amount of time."

    "That's very unfortunate, indeed."

"But the view is worth the wait. How did you manage to get all these fireflies here?"

"I just did. Do I deserve a reward for all the hard work?"

"Did you do it to impress me or for a reward?"

    "Both."
