You knew that look in his eyes. Those once oh-so-beautiful blue eyes turned to a deep, stone grey. But this was a bit different. They were a bright, eery green. Yet, somehow, they looked as stunning as ever.

But you knew what that look meant. How he seemed less in control of his body. It always happened at the strangest of times... None of you could find any rhyme or reason.

This time, it happened while you were playing some stupid dance game on the old, slow console you kept in the upper part of the Belfry. After Bruce's death, you all tried to find the small glimpses of hope and enjoyment. What better way to do that than some friendly competition?

It was almost like 'Just Dance,' but some off-brand version that everybody seemed to enjoy more. Well, normally, anyway. When you asked Jason to play with you, you thought it'd be a great way to take his mind off of the League of Assassins' and Court of Owls' plans for Gotham and each other.

But not too long into it, he seemed... Off. In a way that was all to familiar to his family. The side effects of the damned Pits. It didn't take too long for his vision to feel like it was spinning and for him to feel out of control of his own body.

He tried to push through it, he really did, but he practically collapsed onto the small, ragged couch as soon as your hand gently guided him down. A few deep breaths can be heard from him as he tries to gain his bearings.

"Sorry..." He mutters after a minute or so, face buried into his hands. "Just needed a minute to breathe." But you both knew that was bullshit. He pushes himself too far around you guys whenever he feels like he's ruining a moment.
