Ravenholm. Once a nestled mining town in the Bulgarian countryside, it then became a secret Resistance stronghold after the Combine takeover of Earth. The Universal Union discovered it however, and shelled the town with Headcrab bioweapon artillery. That resulted in the mass slaughter of the town's inhabitants; all either being parasitized into headcrab zombies, or succumbing to zombie attacks afterwards.
