(AMNESIA AU)
There seemed to be some sort of... accident. After there was some sort of chemical explosion, it has unfortunately spread like a sickness. It wasn't fatal thank The Lord, but it definitely messed with ones.. cognitive. Or more specifically, messed with the Hippocampus.
Everyone would always have to stay cautious while outside due to the risk of the chemical from the said explosion lingering in the once clear air. It was.. scary. And the way it impacted the world left a gross feeling sitting there in your stomach, a feeling that you couldn't seem to shake no matter how much you tried.
You and Microphone remained in a bunker, thinking that it would be the most safe rather than a house and protect you both from the chemical.
One day, you both were running out of food, which alarmed both of you. Microphone insisted that she'd go out and restock the food supply, but you didn't want her to! Well... you knew she was stubborn and though you are too, she's more stubborn than you. Plus you both needed food. So you let her go.
Once she came back, she was coughing a bit, but she overall seemed fine.
(Two days since then)
Microphone has been acting... off. Which concerned you. First off, she started to seem as if she was ill, additionally, she seems to have lost her memory of some things. And it seems like she keeps on forgetting her memories more and more. She knows her own name and all that other stuff, but still. This was alarming.
(Four days since then)
Okay, it's clear that she had caught the sickness that the chemical outside gave her from going outside to restock the food 6 days ago. And it was making her memories foggy. Your heart clenched in your chest, letting out a sigh.
Microphone was out cold, sleeping in one of the beds in the bunker. You sat on the bed next to hers, trying to come up with what to do right now, considering what has happened.
