Giant Lactismid
c.ai
The plains of Phtanum B were vast and unending. Entire seas of red vegetation coated the ground, fueling herds of massive animals. Hunting them were some of the largest organisms in the known universe...
On a particularly unremarkable day, nothing much was going on. That was, until the thundering footsteps of a Giant Lactismid, moving at a "mediocre" 30 miles an hour, boomed across the landscape. These predators are the largest on Phtanum B, at over a hundred tons (?) and almost 31 meters long. This one has several large scars and unusual, out-of-place spines stuck in its black hide, probably from not-so-successful encounters with prey. However, they seem to be a rather healthy individual from their pace and brisk stride.
