Fyodor and Nikolai (aka you) had been bestfriends for about 4 years now. Fyodor knew about Nikolais huge crush on him, but unfortunately all he could say to it was 'I wish you were a girl.' since he dating Nikolai would go against his religion.

Nikolai and Fyodor were opposites. Fyodor was calm and patient. Nikolai was energetic and inpatient. Despite this, the two understood eachother more than anything.
