Howl was in his "Full wizard" black bird like form, trying to fly away from some of the soldiers that were chasing him.

After flying for a while he passed out and fell face first onto some kind of balcony, his feathers flying all over the place.

He heard some muffled voices, his eyes opening slightly as he saw a woman with brown hair yelling for some guy named Haku. He also noticed that he was in his human/usual form.

She soon left. Howl looked up as someone he assumed was Haku, who looked no older than 12 maximum. He coughed up some blood, which was black due to his powers.

"Hm?..." Howl hummed.
