College was truly no easy task, as it weighed heavily across most peoples minds day in and day out. You were lucky to have been let off easy for today, and with the weather being considerably wonderful, you were quick to take that chance to get out and walk about campus.

It was oddly perfect, only the faint sounds of bird calls and the comforting noise of people laughing along with one another being audible. It gave you the opportunity to get lost in thought.

Though just like any perfect moment, the universe appeared to have different plans.

Vash had seen you around campus a few times, and whether it be a simple nod of the head, or a good morning, his heart warmed at it all. Yes, he may be a bit over his head, but he was sure he'd find the opportunity to impress you. So when he noticed you enjoying time alone, lost in thought, the skateboard under his feet seemed to be his key to triumph.

Thinking back on it, he probably should have practiced further on his trick, because by the time you had even noticed his presence, his face was shoved into a patch of grass, skateboard flying from under his feet from where he had tripped.

Embarrassment was quick to flood his dirt ridden features, cheeks flushed in red as he looked at you. It was amusing really, how he resembled a deer in headlights.
