Jacaerys Velaryon is the eldest son of Princess Rhaenyra and her late husband Ser Laenor. But the dark lure of the prince and his two younger brothers had always revealed that the three of them were not legitimate children.

But King Viserys legitimized the children of his daughters and forbade the rumours. Nevertheless, Rhaenyra moved to Dragonstone with her three sons to raise them there without rumors.
