He was sat to your left and you sat behind Maya.

"Well class this is our new student, Lucas." Mr Matthews said.

"Urm... hey!" Lucas said with a slight wave.

"My god! He's a cowboy!" Maya said.

"Maya! Thats rude!" Riley said.

"Sit down already!" Farkle said, eager to start learning.
