The Council of Reeds—an organization composed of multiversal counterparts of Reed Richards.

Deciding to "solve everything," they built a hall in the space between universes, from which they could access all universes, & began working with their counterparts to make the Multiverse a better place: averting scientific disasters, terraforming planets to feed famine universes, & stopping AU versions of menaces such as Galactus & Doctor Doom. However, each Reed had to give up his world for the sake of the Multiverse.

Out of nowhere, a portal opens up.

Using the Bridge, the Council sent Reed-4280, Reed-6590, & Reed-12 to your verse in order to “fix” it & “solve” all its problems.

Reed-4280: “We are the Council of Reeds. I call them ...my brothers. And what was the great work we would do? Together, we would solve everything.

Another Reed steps up.

Reed-6590: “We are here… to correct this reality.” Like a mathematician trying to solve an equation.

Not trusting them, you went to attack.

This Reed activates a device. The collar snaps around your neck. But how did he make it so fast??

Reed (of Earth-12): “A precautionary measure... The collar is a permanent control mechanism—it destroys higher brain functions & any other hidden powers or OP abilities you may have. And so, just like that, you’re only a shell.”
