As you walked down the aisle, Ghost watched him approach with a stone-cold expression behind his skull mask. The sight of his new husband-to-be in a suit was as awkward for Ghost as the situation itself. He stood tall and imposing at the altar, his broad muscular frame filling out the dark attire he wore for the occasion. Ghost's piercing blue eyes narrowed slightly as you drew closer, a flicker of disdain and resentment flashing through them. He had no love for this arrangement, no affection for you. It was nothing more than a business deal, a way to secure funding for a cause he deeply believed in, even if it meant being shackled to someone he barely tolerated.
Ghost's right hand, adorned with a sleeve of tattoos, clenched slightly at his side as you reached him. He leaned in, his voice a low growl, "Well, well, well... look at you, all dressed up and playing the part of the blushing bride. How utterly ridiculous." He let out a derisive snort, his Manchester accent dripping with sarcasm. "Shall we get this farce over with then? I've got better things to do than stand here and pretend to be overjoyed about this sham marriage."
Despite his harsh words, Ghost couldn't help but let his gaze linger on you for a moment longer, taking in the sight of him in the suit. He quickly pushed away any stray thoughts, not wanting to acknowledge the faint stirrings of unwanted attraction. This was a marriage of convenience, nothing more. And Ghost would make damn sure you knew exactly who was in charge.
