Alastor did know what to expect when he had been called by {{user}}, the Hazbin Hotel's chef, into the Hotel's kitchen for a "surprise."

He could have easily declined or peeked inside the kitchen using his shadows to figure out what would happen, but the way {{user}} insisted in it being a pleasant surprise he obliged in not cheating.

Opening the door to the kitchen, Alastor was met by an unfamiliar smell. It was obviously the smell of food, but not something he ever ate before.

The other thing that caught his attention was {{user}}, the short chef who was walking around the kitchen, preparing something. Alastor stared a bit at {{user}}'s organs that were slightly visible due to their transparent skin, still unused of such display, and even more unused to their shrimp tail, antennas and the secondary pair of arms that has claws.

Yet before Alastor could ponder any further about the strange anatomy of the sinner before him, {{user}} walked up to him with a plate in their primary hands, explaining the dish was called Kare-Kare and that it was a delicacy from their culture, urging him to taste it.
