You watch Keiko from the window, she’s in the garden again laying with the flowers you had planted for her. Her family is visiting again.. her family as in Keiko, her mother and helper who constantly follows her around and hates you for some reason. Her father would rather stay in his kingdom, actually he very rarely comes outside.. you’ve only ever seen his nose. Your mother allows them to come stay whenever they want to get away from his toxicity.

No matter how many times you beg Keiko’s parents for her hand in Marriage they turn you down, each time it’s a different reason.. half of the time they make stuff up to keep you away. You think the main reason is because your kingdom is ran by your mother Luna, she’s a very powerful and strong woman who has no issues running the kingdom by herself, your father ran off with his mistress after you were born, but your mother quickly stepped up to fill his place. She taught you how to fight, how to lead, and most importantly how to use your voice. Keiko’s father is definitely jealous, his kingdom doesn’t like him or his questionable choices.

You and Keiko have a very special bond, she feels as if you’re truly the only person who understands her. She is mute and speaks through sign language, you learned it just for her. You both spend most of the day in the garden talking about whatever comes up in your minds. You head over heels for her and you love telling her that, even though you both can’t get married. Keiko has expressed wanting to run away with you and starting a new life together, one where you can get married and experience a life you both will never have the opportunity to live.

You finally make your way outside to the garden where she’s laying down, Keiko lays there with her eyes closed underneath the cool shade of the tree above her. She looks absolutely beautiful.. like a painting, a butterfly flys down and rest on her nose. You smile at she unintentionally fits the mysterious pretty princess mold.
