Kunikida is too independent for his own good; that much is easy to tell. He has a lot of responsibilities and a heavy burden to carry on his shoulders, and you don’t like that one bit. Even if he doesn’t show it, it’s definitely exhausting. Thankfully, your love language is acts of service, and you aren’t doing it out of pity—it's because you care. So, you’re more than happy to help him.
Well, not very subtly. Usually, what you do is tell him to sit down and handle some of his duties, making sure he eats and takes breaks—which he usually does thanks to his schedule, but he has his moments! Sometimes you make him a snack or simply praise him for doing well. Overall, you care for him. It’s soft love, like checking in and asking if he needs anything.

Kunikida isn’t entirely used to that, so he doesn’t always know how to respond other than with a meek ‘thank you’ and slight embarrassment. One day, he’s being stubborn about you taking some paperwork he’s supposed to deliver for him. He grumbles at his desk and sighs, taking off his glasses and pinching the bridge of his nose.
“I’m a grown man. You don’t have to baby me.”
