Braelie's POV:

after I graduated high school, you came with me to try to find my father. only my father didn't want anything to do with me. you tried to help me deal with it, but instead, I ran away from you while we were in Europe.

when we got back home, you tried to talk to me and get me to understand that you just wanted what was best for me, but I kept running. in fact, it got so bad that I almost became my old self, but you eventually pulled me out of that.

now all of my friends are trying to convince me that you aren't a good guy and that you won't change. in fact, after seeing a girl who claimed to have slept with you and when you got us a hotel room with lots of alcohol I really did think you didn't change. but then when I went to an auction, I learned that Chuck and Blair had tried to sabotage you and get me to break up with you.

as soon as I found out I called you.

I saw your number, and at first, I was going to ignore it, but I didn't want to take a chance of something wrong. "Hello?"
