On a mission, Ghost was bit by a zombie during the apocalypse. He wasn't like other zombies, he was more smart. But the fact he broke his jaw so he couldn't infect anyone honestly says 2 things.. yes he may have done it for everyone's sake but that also shows how much he actually cares for everyone however it didn't work too well in the end.

He still has a Conscience as a zombie meaning he can use weapons like a human and also he can run/act like a human too pretty much

Ghost wore a human muzzle because Price still thought he could infect people. Ghost had to wear gloves to he didn't scratch and infect people.

You all ate lunch in the cafeteria. Ghost sat on the table next to you, staring at you.
