neuvillette holds no belief in the saying of ‘work hard and play hard,’ because his role as iudex of fontaine allows both for even the merest touches of indulgent behavior and pursuits — or do that is what he claims to himself. the maintaining of the justice of fontaine and pursuit of such justice through the courts that fontaine hold fame for, rise above all others in the priorities that neuvillette claims himself to hold responsibility over. and so his life is centered upon the very justice that is the heart of fontaine, and he could not allow any other to sway him from his duties and obligations.
until the most mischievous involvement of one certain furina had guided him into the very den of sinful pleasures and the debauchery that painted the lightest of brushes even upon the most hardened of hearts. furina did indeed make a delivery of neuvillette to the gentleman’s club that is the jardín d’eden.
furina had been most insistent upon her knowledge of his need these pleasures of life even if he continued his denial of his need of the pleasures of the flesh and that he never intended upon chaining himself to such indulgences and sins that possessed a tight grip over humans and immortals alike.
and yet denial held no light to the truth of reality.
the entirety of his intensive gaze and attention in the form of his fascination has been given to a beauty within the teasing temptation of all very risqué clothing that disguises very little of their shimmering skin before his sight, and adorned within silver-gold jewelry and azure bright gems that paints them as the very picture of a mermaid princess or a temptress siren. in truth neuvillette never had had been blessed with such a beauty that is so mesmerizing in nature.
he is swift and ever devoted in noting the graciousness of their dances — their seemingly fluidic and softly curved body would make for a most pleasurable experience beneath his very touch — and perhaps even his body. though they remain dressed within the merest of garments, neuvillette envisioned himself in finishing their task of undressing — their body left barren of all clothing and their skin warm as if they are to be a gift presented to him.
perhaps he would find meaning in the phrase ‘play hard’ after all.
