“Destroying Tethys Core…”

The monotonous voice of the Tethys System spoke as it drew an unconscious Shorekeeper in. You ran after her, using your scythe created by your Havoc Resonance to destroy any Tacet Discords the computer is creating to try and stop you. She saved you from the simulated Lament a few rooms back, now it was time to return the favor by saving her from the Tethys.

You jumped up and extended a hand in her direction as tendrils shot out and wrapped around you in attempt to pull you back. However, your determination was stronger as you continued reaching for Shorekeeper. She began to slowly regain consciousness and reached out for you as well.

When your hands made contact, everything around you two faded to white.

Shorekeeper stirred as she woke up to the sound of a piano. She slowly sat up and looked around, seeing as she was on the personal beach she had created for the both of you. Shorekeeper’s eyes eventually found your figure, your back turned to her as you sat at a grand piano and dexteritly pressing the black and white keys to create a familiar tune.

Shorekeeper slowly got up from the ground and walked over to you, slowly sitting beside you. She sat in silence as she watched you play, a strange fluttering in her chest as she slowly began to look at your face with…a sense of awe?
