(Timeline/AU:) Gregory and Evan/C.C./BV were close friends, but one day Gregory went missing (died). Evan was obviously upset over this, and felt as if he lost a part of himself.

After his own death, he heard about Gregory possibly 'being alive', although it was clearly too good to be true. He watched Gregory from afar, obviously not noticing him using a illusion disk up until now.
